Proven reliability:The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years.
The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power:Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
ECO mode: When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W).
Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level,
the inverter will remain on.
Communication: VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle connect to Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBook’s and
other devices
PowerAssist - Boosting the capacity of shore or generator power: Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period,
the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When
the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
High start-up power: Needed to start high inrush loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
Search Mode: When Search Mode is ‘on’, the power consumption of the inverter in no-load operation is decreased by approx. 70%.
In this mode the Multi, when operating in inverter mode, is switched off in case of no load or very low load, and switches on every two
seconds for a short period. If the output current exceeds a set level, the inverter will continue to operate.
If not, the inverter will shut down again.
Programmable relay: By default, the programmable relay is set as an alarm relay, i.e. the relay will de-energise in the event of an
alarm or a pre-alarm (inverter almost too hot, ripple on the input almost too high, battery voltage almost too low).


Victron Gel and AGM Batteries (110Ah)

VRLA technology: VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid, which means that the batteries are sealed. Gas will escape through
the safety valves only in case of overcharging or cell failure. VRLA batteries are maintenance free for life.
Sealed (VRLA) AGM Batteries: AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries the electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre
mat between the plates by capillary action. As explained in our book ‘Energy Unlimited’, AGM batteries are more suitable for short-time
delivery of high currents than gel batteries.
Sealed (VRLA) Gel Batteries: Here the electrolyte is immobilized as gel. Gel batteries in general have a longer service life and better
cycle capacity than AGM batteries.
Low Self-Discharge: Because of the use of lead calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored during
long periods of time without recharge. The rate of self-discharge is less than 2% per month at 20°C. The self-discharge doubles for
every increase in temperature by 10°C. Victron VRLA batteries can therefore be stored for up to a year without recharging, if kept
under cool conditions.
Exceptional Deep Discharge Recovery: Victron VRLA batteries have exceptional discharge recovery, even after
deep or prolonged discharge. Nevertheless repeatedly deep and prolonged discharge has a very negative effect on the service life of
all lead acid batteries, Victron batteries are no exception.
Effect of temperature on service life: High temperature has a very negative effect on service life. The service life of Victron batteries
as a function of temperature is: AGM Deep Cycle 20°C: 7 - 10 years, 30°C: 4 years. GEL Deep Cycle 20°C: 12 years, 30°C: 6 years.
Cycle life of Victron batteries: Batteries age due to discharging and recharging. The number of cycles depends on the depth of
discharge: AGM 30% DoD: 1500 Cycles, GEL 30% DoD: 1500 Cycles.


Lithium Batteries (105Ah)

LiFeYPO4 batteries have more than 4 times the energy density than lead acid equivalents.

Enclosure: The steel units are made of 2.5mm Galvanized steel and powder coated with RAL 5012 colour.

Cooling: Digital temprature control with cooling fan regulates the temperature.
